Customer Support Options

Black Duck offers different support levels to provide the appropriate responsiveness and expertise to meet all of our customers’ needs. In addition to online support, Black Duck provides email and phone support Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM Eastern time, excluding US holidays. Regardless of which level of support you choose, our team of experienced support engineers is ready to work with you to quickly identify and solve your problems.

Online

Our Customer Success Community is a 24x7x365 resource for all customers. You can quickly and easily open support cases and monitor progress, learn about product features and capabilities, search the support knowledge base, and gain insights from other Black Duck customers.

If you are unable to access the Customer Success Community you can also email support questions to support@blackducksoftware.com. All email support requests are handled as low priority and will be responded to within 2 business days.

Black Duck Premium Support customers can talk directly support engineers by telephone to receive support requests by calling +1 781.891.5100, option 5.

Whether you are a new user or a veteran looking to sharpen your skills, our goal is to give you the skills and tools you needed securely manage and optimize your use of open source software.

Black Duck offers unlimited access to online training courses and how-to videos via Black Duck Academy. These courses help users learn more about open source software and open source software risk management, as well as the features and functionality of Black Duck Products.

 

On-Site

Black Duck offers on-site training to help your team master open source governance and management with Black Duck products. One of our experienced trainers will visit your office to teach you and your development, security, and legal teams how to most effectively use Black Duck products and services.
