Customer Success Technical Operations Co-Op/Intern Spring 2018

Black Duck Software is seeking an exceptional intern to join our Customer Success Team!  The Technical Operations Intern will support the operations of the organization by helping us create process automation and integrations between tools so that we can support a 360-degree view of our customers.  The position is based in our Burlington, MA office location.  Self-motivated candidates with strong interpersonal skills invited to apply.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
 

  • Develop custom reports to provide insight into operations
  • Write code to integrate systems using a combination of techniques including REST API, SOAP API, and simple CSV export/import
  • Troubleshoot and improve existing automation scripts
  • Help administer internal applications such as Salesforce.com, GainSight, CustomerGuage, Skilljar, and Netsuite OpenAir
  • Create registration keys and customer letters for new customers and renewals
  • Create access codes for our learning portal (Black Duck Academy)

Requirements:

  • Working towards a BS in Computer Science, Math, or Engineering
  • Java and Python programming skills
  • Linux or Unix shell commands and basic system administration
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills 
  • Ability to learn through informal hands-on training
  • Experience using an Application Programming Interface (API)
