Black Duck Expands Management Team With Sales Executive

Waltham, Mass., December 6, 2004 -- Black Duck Software, the leading provider of software compliance management solutions, today announced the appointment of Timothy Bridge as vice president of worldwide sales. Bridge will lead all worldwide sales initiatives and programs for Black Duck's protexIP(TM) suite of software compliance management solutions.

Most recently, Bridge was vice president of worldwide sales at Mountain View, California-based Reasoning Inc., a provider of automated software inspection services. There, he launched the company's reseller program and also played an integral role in helping the company secure its Series C round of venture funding. Prior to Reasoning, Bridge was vice president of worldwide sales at Mainsoft Corporation, a cross-platform development company that enables businesses to develop mission-critical applications with Visual Studio software and deploy them natively on Linux and other open source platforms. At Mainsoft, he generated nearly $50 million in new business revenue and exceeded revenue goals for 13 consecutive quarters.
